By Bus:
Buses numbers 5 and 5A go from BAY C in the Haymarket bus station to Syston. Ask for the nearest stop on Melton Road to Syston High Street which is on the left. The Halfcroft is 10-15 minutes walk from the bus stop.
By local train:
There is a local train service to Syston, but check for times from Leicester. Exit station onto Melton Road and turn left. Proceed along Melton Road until you get to Broad Street on your left. Follow this all the way to Syston High Street. Turn left. The Halfcroft is a little further along on your left. Journey time approximately 25 minutes.
From Mainline Station to Haymarket Bus Station:
Exit front of Railway Station onto London Road and turn right towards the subway to access Granby Street. This is a shopping area. Proceed straight on when the street becomes Gallowtree Gate. Straight ahead you will see the Clock Tower. Bear right into Haymarket. The bus station is further along on the right by Charles Street. Buses for Syston are numbers 5 and 5A and go from Bay C. Journey time from Railway station to Haymarket Bus Station is approx 15 to 20 minutes walk. Distance is approximately 3/4 of a mile.
