By Bus:
Buses number 5 & 5A go from Bay C in the Haymarket bus station. Ask for the nearest stop to Dorothy Avenue. When you get off the bus proceed along Melton Road and look for Bridge Park Road, the next left after Dorothy Avenue. Once you enter Bridge Park Road the Workshops are approximately 50 metres to your left.
By local train:
There is a local train service to Syston but check the times from Leicester. Exit Syston railway station onto Melton Road. Cross the road and turn to your right. The nearest bus stop is on Melton Road just after Wanlip Road joins it from the right. You will require the number 5 or 5A bus heading towards the City Centre. Ask for the nearest stop to Bridge Park Road. When you get off the bus cross over Melton Road and when you enter Bridge Park Road the Workshops are approx 50 metres to your left.
From Mainline Station to Haymarket Bus Station:
Exit front of railway station onto London Road and turn right towards the subway to access Granby Street. This is a shopping area. Proceed straight on when the street becomes Gallowtree Gate. Straight ahead you will see the Clock Tower. Bear right into Haymarket. The bus station is further along on the right by Charles Street. Buses for Thurmaston are numbers 5 and 5A and go from Bay C. Journey time from railway station to bus station is approx 15-20 minutes walk. Distance is approximately 3/4 of a mile.
